Le me share my opinion, if you agree. In the past, I created some boxes and my goal was always to “teach” possibly new techniques. So I did not care about the fact if it was real or not. If you are looking for real scenarios I think the dedicated labs on HTB are an excellent opportunity. A single box should host one ore more innovative or unconventional exploitation techniques, this is what you should look for. And ok, some trolls can be accepted, just for the fun it.
