Hi I’m a n00b at this kind of thing and have been doing as much as I can by myself. But when I try to run nmap -sV 10.10.10.27 on the archetype ip I get the host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking ping pobes dialogue. Am I doing something wrong or is the machine messing up? Could use the help.

Are you connected to the starting point VPN?

If you run traceroute to the box, what output do you get?
