Metasploit session not starting while trying to exploit academy box

So ive been tryig to solve the academy htb. Its my first HTB and im trying to exploit an app called _______ in this machine but everytime i run exploit its says exploit created but no session found. Please help i have even done apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade still not working (((

In reality, it is almost certainly down to a misconfiguration with the options. Likely candidates are LHOST, TARGETURI and VHOST.

mmm meta isn't as simple as it seems if you get errors there are reasons.
If it runs but doesn't return error or shell... tweak things.
