Run python exploit in Cutter.re

If I start debugging in cutter.re and enter
$(python -c "print 123")

it's not working. Docs say it has python integrated, how to run my script when debugging?

Found something in the issue tracker, piping i/o is supposed to work somehow but lacks documentation. Help.
