Hey guys whats up? I’m opening this thread to talk about books related to pentest, exploitation and hacking in general.
I have just ordered the Rtfm: Red Team Field Manual from Amazon.

The senior pen tester who interviewed me recommended the hacker playbook series. I’m not very far into them yet but so far it’s been really good!
Ghost in the Wires, A Bug Hunters Diary, The Art of Deception, Linux Cookbook series.

I definitely recommend: Hacking - The Art of Exploitation by Jon Erickson. One of the best books I’ve read so far.

2nd that… I’ve also found this one to be a good quick reference and ideas giving book: ETHICAL HACKING AND PENETRATION TESTING GUIDE
